PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent light pollution by concentrating light beams in horizontal and upper directions and also to improve the efficiency of light emission. SOLUTION: The aircraft obstruction light of this invention comprises a first mirror (1) which has a semicircular or a semi-ellipsoidal cross section, a slender light source (3) which is placed nearby the focus of the first mirror (1), a second mirror (2) which is continuously formed with the first mirror (1) at the upper side of the light source (3) and has a parabolic or a linear cross section, a case (4) which contains the light source (3), the first mirror (1) and the second mirror (2), and has an opening (4a) at the place of the horizontal projection of the second mirror (2). Since the light source (3) is arranged in the vicinity of the focus of the second mirror (2), the light is prevented from emitting downward below the horizontal direction. |
