PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having a structure for preventing the unexpected deformation of the contact part or spring part of a short-circuit member by an external force. SOLUTION: This connector comprises the short-circuit member 7 for short- circuiting a plurality of contacts 6. The short-circuit member comprises the spring part 12 extended from one end of a flat base part 11 having an opening 11a, bent substantially in a U-shape and turned to one surface of the base part. The contact part 13 protruded to the opposite surface side of the base part through the opening of the base part is extended from the spring part. The contact part is the part to make contact with the contact.
