<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unirterruptible power supply device capable of saving computer system data stopped for a while in a hard disk. SOLUTION: This uniterruptible power supply device is connected to a mother board 10 and a hard disk 11 of a computer, and at the time of detecting the sudden power failure of the computer which is being used at present or the computer which is stopped for a while, a power source detector circuit 20 of this system transmits a power failure signal to a power source control circuit 21. Then, a power source switching circuit 23 is controlled by the power source control circuit 21, and the power source of the computer is switched so that a power source can be supplied by a charging battery 25. Then, the program and data in progressing states of the computer are written in the hard disk 11 of the computer by the CPU of the computer. Thus, when a user reuses the computer, the CPU reads the program and data before the power failure from the hard disk 11 so that the computer can be restored to the state before the power failure.</p> |
