PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-purpose memory macro means having the small modification of layout. SOLUTION: A multi-purpose memory macro processor has a database means for storing layout data including the layout data of an unnecessary prescribed element and a prescribed wiring part as memory macro being the layout data of a multi-purpose memory, a selection means for selecting whether the database data is used as the multi-purpose memory or the memory macro, and a setting means for setting an area between the memory macro and a logic when it is used as the memory macro.
