PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute generation and sending of a subtitle program, by automatically data converting the subtitle data of digital television data broadcasting into a multiplexed text broadcasting which is matched to analog television broadcasting. SOLUTION: A real-time digital broadcasting/analog broadcasting subtitle data converting and sending system comprises the steps of executing the subtitle data of the digital television data broadcasting by data analysis, nonstandard character processing, layout conversion processing, multiplexed text broadcasting type conversion processing, managing information addition processing and packeting processing with software processing by a processing unit (computer), converting the subtitle data into subtitle program data, superimposing the subtitle program data on an analog television video signal by a bits inserter, automatically generating and sending the multiplexed text broadcasting subtitle program on real-time basis.
