PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color light source and a color display in which high resolution and high definition are attained by making one pixel smaller or using a bullet type light source for displaying colors and R, G and B colors are not viewed independently even from a short distance. SOLUTION: The color light source comprises a red light emitting element 1, a green light emitting element 2, and a blue light emitting element 3 stacked sequentially in the light take-out direction. Red light of a specified intensity emitted from the red light emitting element 1 in the light take-out direction is not intercepted by the green and blue light emitting element 2, 3, and green light emitted from the green light emitting element 2 in the light take-out direction is not intercepted by the blue light emitting element 3, but transmitted and then subjected to additive color mixing along with blue light emitted from the blue light emitting element 3 in the light take-out direction thus emitting light of desired color. |
