PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell separator having both of characteristics of a graphite material such as corrosion resistance and electric conductivity and mechanical strength of a metal plate material at high level and facilitating the formation of gas passages. SOLUTION: This fuel cell separator is provided with a plurality of projecting bars 20 comprising a metal plate 10, and the graphite materials projecting from the metal plate 10 to a gas diffusion electrode plate 3 side so as to contact with the gas diffusion electrode plate 3, and forming the gas passage 30. Inter- metal chemicals are deposited on the projecting faces of the projecting bars 20 in the metal plate 10 and the gas passages 30 are partitioned by the surface 11 of the exposed metal plate 10 and a pair of side face 21 of the adjoining projecting bars 20. |
