PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator for a pickup that allows a fixing means for fixing an optical part to obtain sufficient tilt angle. SOLUTION: With a connecting recess 302 provided on a tilt base 101 for fixing an optical part such as an objective lens P, and with a connecting projection 301 provided on a piezoelectric element 103a, the tilt base 101 and the piezoelectric element 103a are connected to each other; and also, the sliding face 302S of the connecting recess 302 and that 301S of the connecting projection 301 are only partially brought into contact with each other and are made to slide over each other.
