PURPOSE: A system and method for the internet access using the bar code are provided for a user to get contents of the updated book and the effect of both the online and offline learning, for a book provider to get the advertisement benefit from an advertiser, and for the advertiser to get the advertisement effect of a product and event in the low price by moving to a relevant web page through the bar code. CONSTITUTION: When the user scans the bar code by a bar code reader, a user computer perceives the data of the bar code(S300). The user computer checks if an internet connection program like an Internet Explorer is run or not(S310). If the internet connection program is not run, the user must run the internet connection program(S312). Otherwise, the user computer accesses the web page of a relevant web site through the URL included in the bar code(S320). The web page corresponding to the data of the bar code is displayed on a user web browser(S330).
