PURPOSE: A charged information offering method and system is provided to enable a user to choose charged information, to transmit the chosen information on a terminal of the user, and to automatically deduct the information usage fee from a fund. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a user accessing a charged information service system(S100), a data transmission module of the service system transmitting classified charged information menu to the user terminal via a web server(S110), a payment selection module enabling the user to select a payment method on the charged information(S120-S140), the payment selection module calling a fund payment module or a credit payment module according to a selection of the user and performing the corresponding payment process(S150), in the case of the fund payment method, the fund payment module requesting a user to approve a withdrawal from the fund and performing an approval process on the withdrawal after the user inputting a user name and a password(S160,S170), the fund payment module transmitting an error message if the input name and password are different from those stored in a payment management database(S180,S240), an information usage management module calculating the information usage fee according to the information service quantity or time, deducting the fee from the fund and storing payment specifications at the payment management database(S190-S220).
