APPARATUS FOR OUTPUTTING TERMINATION RING IN PORTABLE WIRELESS TERMINAL ON WHICH MP3 FUNCTION IS MOUNTED

PURPOSE: An apparatus for outputting a termination ring in a portable wireless terminal on which an MP3(Motion Pictures Expert Group Audio Layer 3) function is mounted is provided to output the termination ring for which a user wishes using a stored MP3 music. CONSTITUTION: An MP3 file buffer(12) buffers MP3 music data received through an RF unit(18) under a control of a CPU(10). An MP3 decoder(14) receives the MP3 music from the MP3 file buffer(12) and decodes the received MP3 music under the control of the CPU(10). The CPU(10) controls the MP3 file buffer(12) and the MP3 decoder(14) and provides the MP3 music as a termination ring to a user. A switch(20) selectively provides the MP3 music to an audio output unit(22) and a Schmitt trigger(24) on the basis of the control of the CPU(10). The audio output unit(22) amplifies the music data provided through the switch(20) as an audible sound type. The Schmitt trigger(24) performs a waveform conversion and a level conversion of the MP3 music received from the switch(20) to be matched to an operation characteristic of a buzzer(28) and transmits the converted MP3 music to a buzzer driving unit(26). The buzzer driving unit(26) amplifies the MP3 music outputted from the Schmitt trigger(24) and provides the amplified MP3 music to the buzzer(28). The buzzer(28) outputs the MP3 music amplified from the buzzer driving unit(26) as the termination ring.
