PURPOSE: A method for interlocking inter-different signal protocols in a gateway system is provided to convert a signal message format according to a signal protocol in case that the signal message format differs and mutually interlock the inter-different signal protocols in the gateway system. CONSTITUTION: A gateway system routes a signal protocol of a received signal message or a buffered signal message and confirms whether the routed signal protocol is identical to a signal protocol of a transmitting adjacent signal point(S61). If the routed signal protocol is different from the signal protocol of the transmitting adjacent signal point, the gateway system converts a format of the received signal message to be suitable for a corresponding transmitting signal protocol(S62). If the routed signal protocol is identical to the signal protocol of the transmitting adjacent signal point, the gateway system routes the signal message and confirms whether a transmission state is normal(S63). If the transmission state is normal, the gateway system transmits the signal message to the adjacent signal point(S64). If the transmission state is abnormal, the gateway system includes signal protocol information of the signal message in the signal message, temporarily stores the signal message in a storage space, buffers the signal message, and retransmits the signal message(S65,S66).
