PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document managing device which eliminates the user's trouble to add the right to access inputted data again. SOLUTION: This document managing device is equipped with an input means 10 which inputs document data, a storage means 50 which holds the document data, and a registering means 20 which registers the document data inputted by the input means 10 in the storage means 50; and the access right is previously set in the storage means 50 and the access right is set also the document data stored in the storage means 50. The registering means 20 when registering the document data inputted by the input means 10 sets the access right set in the storage means as the access right for the document data.
