PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer data in response to e-mail including data such as image data by using PIN information. SOLUTION: A facsimile server device 20 receives the e-mail including at least the facsimile number of a transfer destination, the PIN information being an authentication number to a public telephone network 80 and the image data from a mail server device 60 (YES in step S1 of a diagram 5), performs authentication application to the network 80 by using the PIN information and transmits the image data to the facsimile number of the transfer destination (step S6 and S7). When the PIN information is not received (NO in step S5) and also when it is not a default PIN information transfer mode (NO in step S8), the server device 20 rejects the transmission of the data or the image data and returns the purport to a transmission source by e-mail (step S10).
