PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a battery electrode with a separator, capable of thinning the separator. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing a battery electrode with a separator has an immersing process of immersing the electrode for the battery in solution in which constituent materials for constituting the separator are dispersed in a solvent, and an electrophoretic process for generating a potential gradient in the solution and then sticking the constituent materials to the front surface of the electrode for the battery by an electrophoresis. That is, when the electrophoresis is applied to form the separator, since electric current concentrically flows to a part on the front surface of the electrode for the battery on which the separator is not formed, the current density is increased. Since the electrophoresis is concentrated to the part, the separator is preferentially formed on a part on which the separator is not formed. Accordingly, since the separator is preferentially formed on the part on which separator formation is delayed, the separator is uniformly formed on the front surface of the electrode for the battery. |
