PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network facsimile terminal that can prevent a job instruction from being error-processed. SOLUTION: When initialization of an option board 30 is finished, a facsimile terminal main body 1a informs a unit connected via a communication network such as a mail server and a personal computer about an event denoting the end of initialization. Thus, the unit connected to the communication network can surely recognize the end of initialization of the option board 30 on the basis of the event notice. Then the unit connected to the communication network can start a job instruction to the option board 30 on the basis of the event notice. Thus, processing error of the job instruction can be prevented.
