PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aperture grille capable of stably forming endmost slits in an effective screen area in narrow width by forming a sharp end shape of extra slits. SOLUTION: This aperture grille 41 comprises a plurality of parallel tapes 23 and slits 25 orderly formed into a bamboo blind shape in a thin metal sheet 21 and extra slits 27 for absorbing the thermal deformation of the metal sheet 21 installed on the outside of the distal slits 25a positioned at both ends thereof in the arranged direction. The metal sheet 21 is eroded, and an erosion run-up portion 31 without the extra slits 27 provided is formed extendedly from both ends of the extra slits 27 in the longitudinal direction.
