PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a fluorescent lamp suppressing sedimentation and solidification of a phosphor in a phosphor coating liquid. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing a fluorescent lamp uses a mixed phosphor of a green phosphor and a blue phosphor. The blue phosphor contains at least one of an europium activated aluminate phosphor and an europium- manganese activated aluminate phosphor, and alumina fine particles and a rare-earth salt having a deposition pH value of hydroxide of rare earth elements of 6.8 or more are added to an aqueous phosphor coating liquid for applying to a lamp bulb for forming a phosphor film.
