PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure the strength of a cartridge body and to make an information signal recording disk able to be housed without making the cartridge body thick. SOLUTION: This disk cartridge has the information signal recording disk 1 which is pierced with a center hole 3, is formed with a signal recording layer on one main surface 2a side and is formed with a bulging part 6 enclosing the center hole 3 on the other main surface 2b side and the cartridge body 11 in which the information signal recording disk 1 is rotataby housed. The information signal recording disk 1 is housed in the cartridge body 11 so as to face an aperture 13 provided with the bulging part 6 at the cartridge body 11.
