PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a momentary trip device for a circuit breaker capable of simplifying the connection of a trip lever and a movable electromagnetic piece and making the housing space of the movable electromagnetic piece small. SOLUTION: In the movable electromagnetic piece 4, a rotating shaft part 13 is formed by installing a fulcrum hole 9 in the right and left direction in the upper part, and a working plate 16 conducting interaction with a fixed electromagnetic piece 4 through a body 14 widened right and left is installed. In the trip lever 1, a cylindrical fulcrum shaft 5 acting as a rotating center, connecting the movable electromagnetic piece 4 by inserting into the fulcrum hole 9 of the movable electromagnetic piece 4 is protruded sideward, and a fixing means for holding the body part 14 of the movable electromagnetic piece 4 is installed adjacent to the fulcrum shaft 5. A fixing means is formed with a coming off preventing rib 8 formed at the tip of a holding wall 6 formed in parallel to the fulcrum shaft 5 and a rotation preventing rib 7 in a base end part.
