PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact data carrier capable of communications even if a long communication distance is set between an external device and an antenna, and a booklet having such a non-contact data carrier, for reducing the causes of failure of an IC chip provided on the booklet, by preventing coil antennas provided on the booklet and the IC chip from being adversely affected by the pressure of a feed roller, and preventing the IC chip from being pressed by booklet sheets when the sheets are bound together into the booklet. SOLUTION: The non-contact data carrier has a non-contact IC chip formed with a second coil antenna and provided in an area of a first sheet of base material in which a first coil antenna is positioned. The booklet having the non-contact data carrier is characterized in that the data carrier is affixed to the front or back cover thereof. |
