PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an error rate measuring instrument for highly accurately measuring a channel error rate over a wide range. SOLUTION: In addition to an error rate measuring system after re-encoding for measuring an error rate by comparing a sequence, which is encoded again after error-correcting decoding, with a sequence, with which hardness is decided before error-correcting decoding, an error rate measuring system based on the communication/interference + noise ratio (SIR) of a communication channel is used and corresponding to the error detection result after decoding and the error rate measurement result of the error rate measuring system after re- encoding, the error rate is provided while selecting any one of (combining on the time base) the measured results of the error rate measuring system after re-encoding and the error rate measuring system based on the SIR of the communication channel. |
