<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the connecting form of a flat cable and an electric wire. SOLUTION: In this cable reel, a rotor interlocking with a steering wheel is rotatably combined with a stator fixed to a steering column, the flat cable is accommodated in a winding state in an annular hollow chamber formed by the stator and the rotor, and the inner peripheral end of the flat cable is electrically connected to an external electric wire through a connector projected on the rotor. In the cable reel, a bus bar, connected to each conductor of the inner peripheral end of the flat cable is fixed to the upper wall of the rotor which constitutes the inner cylinder and the upper wall of the annular hollow chamber in insert molding, and the conductor of the flat cable and the external electric wire are welded to the bus bar.</p> |
