PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a generator compact by integrating a power-generating coil and a multipolar magnet. SOLUTION: Yokes 2 are extended from a core of a coil 1 so as to alternately wrap a coil in a staggered configuration. In the next, there is prepared a spiral-shaped magnet 4, of which the internal peripheral surface is subjected to multipolar magnetization, with the number of poles corresponding to the number of the yokes 2, and the power-generating coil 3 is inserted into core of the spiral shaped magnet 4 to rotate the magnet. Thereby, there occur pole changes corresponding only to the number of the yokes 2 every time the magnet 4 rotates one round, and then an AC current is made to flow to the coil 3 by an electromagnetic induced current. Consequently, the generator can be made compact in size, by rotating the spiral-shaped magnet 4 fixing it to the bearing of the propeller or a wheel of a tire. Also, a space can be saved as a power-generating magnet, the power-generating coil and a power unit, which have been vertically disposed in series centering on a shaft hitherto, are now piled in three layers centering on the shaft. Furthermore, there is no need for use of a plurality of magnets, since each of the like poles will not be brought into contact with each other due to the spiral shape of the magnet.
