PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely reduce the size of a dynamic storage area regarding a node device for conducting call processing in a connection-oriented communication network. SOLUTION: The node device comprises a net interface means for taking an interface with the communication network, a static storage means for storing information of an operation and a management of resources to be supplied to an interface, and a call processing means for conducting the call processing of a call generated in its own station, capturing an empty memory area as a dynamic storage area to store information regarding the call and suitably referring to the storage area of the static storage means together with the dynamic storage area. In this device, the call processing means is constituted by releasing the captured dynamic storage area when the call becomes a complete call.
