PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information setting system of a private branch exchange capable of confirming or updating system setting information from a remote place regarding the setting system of the branch exchange for setting the system of the exchange and automatically setting a plurality of the branch exchanges regarding common system setting. SOLUTION: The information setting system of the private branch exchange 1 comprises the branch exchange 1 having a central control means 11 for controlling exchange and an interface means 12 for connecting the means 11 to a network 2, and an HTTP server 3 connected to the network 2 to hold the system setting information of the exchange 1. In this system, the means 12 of the exchange 1 acquires the system setting information held in the server 3 via the network 2, and sets the information by notifying the information to the means 11.
