PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable magnetic switch by making the locking part 2b of a movable core 2 hit against a movable part 5 even when the life of a contact comes, or even when the moving length of the movable part 5 is maximum, and increasing the separation force between a movable contact 5a and a fixed contact 6b by the impact of the hitting. SOLUTION: A regulating member 7 for regulating the moving length of the movable part 5 is installed in a housing 8, and the moving length of the movable core 2 is set to be longer than that of the movable part 5. By repeating the supply of current to an exciting coil 3, abrasion loss of the fixed contact 6b is increased, and even when the life of the contact comes, a gap C is formed between a locking part 2b of the movable core 2 and a plate 5c of the movable part 5 during the supply of current to the exciting coil 3. When the supply of current to the exciting coil 3 is stopped, impact force is applied to the movable part 5 with the movable core 2, and the movable contact 5a is surely separated from the fixed contact 6b.
