PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve which is latched at an opened position or a closed position and can indicate its position, as to whether the opened position or closed position, using a simple structure. SOLUTION: When an armature 21 of the solenoid valve 15 is at a first position 26 and the valve seat 36 of the valve 15 is opened, a first magnetic flux path 24 is formed from a permanent magnet 16 to the magnet 16 through an outer housing cylinder 41, a left flange 43, an inner core 42, and the armature 21 and the armature 21 is latched at the first position 26. When the armature 21 is at a second position 28, the valve seat 36 is closed, and a second magnetic flux path 25 is formed from the magnet 16 to the magnet 16 through an outer housing cylinder 41, a right disk 44, and the armature 21 inclusively. Switching between both the positions 26 and 28 is performed by biasing a coil 18. When the armature 21 is at the second position 28, the first magnetic flux path 24 will not function but a display armature 39 is pushed by a spring 35 and actuates a switch 40, to indicate that the valve seat 38 is closed.
