<p>The flatbread maker (10) includes a support structure which has a base portion (12), a short rear portion (15) and an upper portion (14), wherein the upper portion angles upwardly as it extends forwardly from the rear portion, wherein the base portion includes a central track (58) which extends inwardly from the front edge for receiving a roller element (100) portion of an actuating arm (90). The actuating arm (90) is generally L-shaped, having a roller element (100) at the joining portion between vertical and lower leg portions thereof, the roller element (100) being configured and arranged to slide along the track when the vertical leg portion of the arm is rotated downwardly, such that the roller element (100) moves along the track (58) and the free end of the lower leg moves upwardly, forcing a lower flatbread plate (84) which is hinged to the rear portion of the support structure.</p> |
