MEDICAL BEVEL NEEDLE

A bevel needle (1) having an opened bevel edge face (3), wherein cutting edges (9) linearly extending from the tip end of a tip (2) on the right and left sides diagonally rearwardly are formed by the crossings of a right/left front grinding faces (5) and the opened bevel edge face (3) or a bevel needle outer periphery surface (4), and the right/left maximum width of the cutting edges is defined by right/left rear grinding faces (6). With the needle axis kept horizontal and the opened bevel edge face (3) facing upward, the right/left front grinding faces (5) cross at the tips and extend diagonally rearwardly and symmetrically with respect to the vertical surface, and the right/left rear grinding faces (6) respectively continue to the rear portions of the front grinding faces at positions where the right/left maximum width of the front grinding faces reaches a specified size, e.g. the radius of the bevel needle and extend diagonally rearwardly at an inclination gentler than that of the front grinding faces and symmetrically with respect to the vertical surface. The rear grinding faces (6) have an angle of inclination of 5 pi /12 radian to pi /2 radian (75 to 90 deg.) with respect to a horizontal plane.
