PURPOSE: A tray feeder is provided to minimize a generation of a particle by minimizing a sliding motion. CONSTITUTION: A tray(101) is loaded and supported by a tray support member(210). A tray support member elevator(220) elevates the tray support member(210). A tray separating and location determining portion(230) separates the highest tray(101a) from a tray(101b) loaded on the highest tray(101a) and moves the separated highest tray(101a) to a predetermined location. A ball bush(211) is fixed and connected to the tray support member(210). The tray support member(210) is arranged at a lower portion of an operation area of a robot. The tray support member elevator(220) includes a servo motor(221), a ball screw(223), and a ball nut(224). When the ball screw(223) is rotated, the ball nut(224) is moved along the ball screw(223).
