PURPOSE: An Internet interfacing method of an exchange is provided to reduce a load of an exchange according to an Internet data separation and improve an Internet service rate by constructing an Internet interfacing unit in the exchange and interfacing the Internet through the Internet interfacing unit to make a high speed communication. CONSTITUTION: A connection control protocol transmits various options to a subscriber(1). The subscriber sends a response signal to the connection control protocol in case of accepting the options(2). The subscriber transits a signal for a link connection to the connection control protocol(3). The connection control protocol transmits a response signal to the subscriber if the signal received from the subscriber for a link connection is suitable(4). The subscriber requests an authentication by transmitting an ID and a password to a password authentication protocol(5). The password authentication protocol transmits the data received from the subscriber to a remote dial-in service(6). The remote dial-in service transmits the subscriber data to an information provider(7). The information provider confirms the authentication to the remote dial-in service(8). The remote dial-in service informs the password authentication protocol that it has received the user authentication from the information provider(9). The password authentication protocol informs the subscriber of the completion of the authentication(10). The connection control protocol transmits an up-signal to an Internet protocol control protocol(11). The Internet protocol control protocol transmits a signal for a link connection to the subscriber(12). The subscriber accepts the signal for a link connection and responds to the Internet protocol control protocol(13). The subscriber sends a signal for the link connection to the Internet protocol control protocol(14). The Internet protocol control protocol sends a response signal if the signal for the link connection provided from the subscriber is suitable(15).
