A bearing device formed so as to seal one end of a bearing boss with a cap, comprising an oil-impregnated sintered bearing rotatably holding a shaft fixed to a rotor and the bearing boss having the bearing fixed to the inside wall thereof, whereby the lubricating oil leaked from the bearing can be held and collected by providing a plurality of grooves in the inside wall of the cap, and thus the service life of the bearing can be increased. |
