An additional heating unit for cars with IC engines is described. In a heating device (1) is located a lubricating oil pump (2) of the crankshaft (3). On sides of the pressure outlet (6) of the lubricating oil pump near to a high pressure cylinder space (19) is located an annular chamber (7) with an annular chamber control edge (10) in which is located a differential piston (8) with its high pressure face (12). This projects with its piston control edge onto the annular chamber control edge so that a throttle cross-section is formed by both control edges. The opposite piston end of the differential piston is located with its low pressure face (13) in a low pressure cylinder space (17) and with its differential face (14) in a differential cylinder space.
