DEVICE FOR COLLECTING AND RETURNING LUBRICANTS AND COOLANTS TO THE COOLANT CIRCUIT OF A COOLING SYSTEM

The invention relates to a device for collecting and returning lubricants or oil (1) and coolants (2) to the coolant circuit (3) of a cooling system. Said device comprises a collector (4), an inlet for the coolant (2) and the oil (1) and an intake line (6) that extends through the collector (4). Said intake line is provided with an open end (8) that is disposed above the usual liquid level (7) and through which a gaseous coolant (9) may be taken in. The intake line further comprises an intake zone (10) for the coolant (2) and the oil (1) and an outlet (11) for a mixture from coolant (2) and oil (1) connected to the collector (4). The inventive device is further characterized in that the oil (1) has a lower or similar density than the liquid coolant (2) and that the collector (4), especially the inlet (5), and/or the intake zone (10) of the intake line (6) is/are configured and disposed in such a manner that the oil (1) and optionally coolant (2) present in the collector (4) can be taken in via the intake zone (10) and returned to the coolant circuit (3) in any operational state of the cooling system.
