A spiral oil lamp or spiral oil candle comprising of a spiral tubular coil vessel 11 and a burner 12. The spiral tubular coil vessel is constructed from a spiral tubular coil of any geometric shape. The spiral tubular coil vessel rests vertically to a level plane, providing support for the burner, a fuel breather hole, refuelling inlet and forming the fuel storage structure of the spiral oil lamp or oil candle. Legs or base are added to increase the stability of the spiral tubular coil vessel. Fuel level of a transparent spiral tubular coil vessel provides a visual timing device when the burner is in use.
