In wireless communications, transmission devices require continuous supplies of random data for encryption processes. The invention provides a method for generating a continuous pool of truly random data with hardware that is already available in conventional CDMA phones. In exemplary embodiments the receive AGC, or Automatic Gain Control, circuit, DC offset loop, and Time Tracking loop are used to exploit random characteristics if CDMA signals. |
