<p>The invention relates to an auto-disconnector such as those used in transportation vehicles to disconnect an electrical circuit of the electric power supply by inertial processes in case of collision or overturning. The device has a housing (1) in which a mass (2) that is centered by springs (5) is arranged. A bolt (3) partly lodged on a hole (2.2) is arranged above said mass. A coaxial button (7) is pressed by a spring (4), said button maintaining the circuit between two terminals (7.3 and 7.4) closed. The button (7) stops having support when the mass (2) is sufficiently displaced as a result of an acceleration caused by a collision or overturning of the vehicle, thereby causing the circuit between the terminals to open. The circuit can be re-activated by external traction means (8) which again press the spring (4) of the bolt (3) thus returning it to the initial arrangement.</p> |
