PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize a contact state between a load supporting body and a block. SOLUTION: In a V-belt device provided with the load supporting body and a multiplicity of lateral blocks 2, at least one slit for housing the load supporting body is formed in each lateral block, protruding portions and/or recessed portions are provided on a surface of the load supporting body and side faces of the block slits, and the portion of the slit side face is engaged to the protruding or recessed portion of the load supporting body. A complex comprising at least three portions with a continuously changing curvature or a constant curvature is realized in at least one contact partner so that the curvature increases from a center of a contact range toward an outer side range in a whole of the contact range from an extended state to a state of minimum turning radius of a belt. |
