PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and precisely check a coaxial cable for leakage. SOLUTION: This check probe 1 comprises a groove 9 cut in the detecting surface 8 of a case 2. The groove 9 is a wedge-like groove having a longitudinal sectional profile of the case 2 and formed of a flat surface 10 having the most sensitive point of an antenna 5 in the center and inclined surfaces 11 and 11 symmetric relative to the flat surface 10. In the check of the coaxial cable for leakage, the coaxial cable is guided to the flat surface 10 side by the inclined surfaces 11 and 11 only by being put along the groove 9, and the circumferential surface of the coaxial cable is allowed to abut on the flat surface 10 in the set state while supported by the inclined surfaces 11 and 11.
