摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply unit which can avoid interference between fuel pulsation caused by a tendency toward high pressure combustion fuel and supply control of additive fuel, and can optimize exhaust emission purification. SOLUTION: A feed pump 110 arranged in a supply pump 100 of a fuel supply system 10 pumps up fuel in a fuel tank 200 via a fuel passage P3 and delivers the fuel into a fuel passage P4. Another fuel passage P6 branched off from the fuel passage P4 further branches into additive fuel passages P2 and P7. The additive fuel passage P2 is communicated with a fuel addition nozzle 17 via a metering valve 16. The fuel passage P7 is connected to a high-pressure pump 120. An ECU 80 controls fuel addition to an exhaust system 40 via an opening and closing valve of the metering valve 16 such that opening timing of the metering valve 16 does not coincide with fuel intake timing of the high pressure pump 120.
