PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel for an embossed carrier tape, not to be bulky in transporting and having no need to be sorted in discarding. SOLUTION: A pair of flanges 12, 12 having insertion holes 17 for a rotary shaft and a shaft part for connecting the central parts of the flanges 12, 12 to each other at a specified distance are formed of a corrugated board, and the shaft part can be folded. For example, flaps 13 extending in the radial direction and having base ends 13a on the central part side of the flanges 12 are formed into a punched shape, slits 14 extending in the circumferential direction of the flange 12 are provided on a circle concentric with the flange 12 including the base ends 13a of the flaps 13. The flaps 13 of each flange 12 are pulled up, projecting pieces 13b of the flaps 13 of one flange 12 are inserted in slits 14 of the other flange 12, and the flanges 12 are fixed to form a reel 11.
