EMERGENCY ESCAPE DEVICE FOR CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency escape device which allows quick setting of an escapable state without effort. SOLUTION: The emergency escape device is provided with an emergency escape member 11 which is held and mounted on a portion outside an operator's cab by a holding mechanism 12. Upon cancellation of the holding by the holding mechanism 12, the emergency escape member 11 is hung toward the ground due to its self weight, to thereby allow the operator to escape from the operator' s cab. The holding of the emergency escape member 11 by the holding mechanism 12 is cancelled by operation of the operator in the operator's cab 4.
