PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented polyester film excellent in delamination resistance, high-speed printing property and productivity. SOLUTION: A biaxially oriented polyester film consisting of a polyester copolymer containing ethylene terephthalate and ethylene-2,6-naphthalate each in an amount of >=5 mol% of the recurring units and/or a polyester blended body containing polyethylene terephthalate and polyethylene-2,6-naphthalate each in an amount of >=5 wt.% as the main constitutional components.
