<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress unauthorized unlocking of a door by a third party. SOLUTION: There is provided a keyless entry system comprising a portable transmitter 1 for transmitting a locking/unlocking signal, and a receiver 2 for receiving the signal and controlling locking/unlocking operation. The portable transmitter 1 includes a transmitting-side control section 12, a variable code generating section 13, and a transmitting-side variable code storage section 15 for storing therein variable codes, and the transmitting-side control section has a locking/unlocking signal producing function. The receiver 2 includes a receiving-side control section 23 and a receiving-side variable code storage section 24 for storing therein a variable code included in a received locking command signal. The receiving-side control section 23 determines whether or not a variable code included in an unlocking command signal corresponds to a variable code included in a last-time locking command signal and stored in the receiving-side variable code storage section 24. If it is determined that the former corresponds to the latter, the receiving-side control section 23 issues a command for unlocking the door.</p> |
