<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light receiving and emitting device that allows low cost and small size through a simple structure and that has little environmental impact in discarding. SOLUTION: The light receiving and emitting device is provided with an electron emission part 2 which is optically connected to an optical system 1a and which is equipped with an electron emitter 22 for emitting electrons by being excited with light transmitted from the optical system 1a, a current detecting anode electrode 4 which detects electric signals by receiving electrons emitted from the electron emitter 22 of this electron emission part 2, a gate electrode 23 which applies electric signals to the electron emitter 22 so as to make it emit electrons, and an illuminant 3 which emits light by receiving electrons emitted from the electron emitter 22.</p> |
