<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide physical distribution facilities automatically transferring products on pallets and reducing the load on workers. SOLUTION: The physical distribution facilities are provided with an automated storage and retrieval ware house 1 storing single-item pallets loading single- item products as pallet units, depalletizer/palletizer parts 11A and 11B directly transferring the products from the single-item pallet delivered from the warehouse 1 to a sorting pallet, and a carrier truck 53 carrying the single-item pallets between the warehouse 1 and the depalletizer/palletizer parts 11A and 11B. The facilities are so constituted that, when a plurality of pallets loaded with the single-item products and having remainders in the number of the products left thereon are recognized, the single-item pallets are delivered from the warehouse, the products are transferred from each single-item pallet to an empty pallet in the depalletizer/palletizer parts 11A and 11B, and the pallets with their products transferred are warehoused in the warehouse 1. This constitution can automate the transfer works so as to reduce the load on the workers.</p> |
