DRIVE METHOD OF AUTOMOBILE DRIVE TRAIN AND CONTROL SYSTEM FOR AUTOMOBILE DRIVE TRAIN EXECUTING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find a change gear ratio of a multistage transmission in controlling an engine at low cost by a simple method in an automobile drive train. SOLUTION: This drive method for the automobile drive train has the multistage transmission connected to the rear side of the engine via a torque converter. The change gear ratio of the multistage transmission is found using some drive parameters characteristic to the drive state of the engine and a measurement value characteristic to the rotation speed of a drive shaft for the multistage transmission.
