PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy member excellent in corrosion resistance in such a manner that the lowering of corrosion resistance by remaining of soldering agent is suppressed, and capable of thinning, and to provide a soldering method using the same material. SOLUTION: This aluminum alloy member has a core material composed of aluminum or aluminum alloy, and a sacrificing material composed of aluminum or aluminum alloy material formed on the one side of this core material, wherein an eutectic crystalline or primary crystalline Si layer is not present after soldering, in the area of over 2.0 mm from the edge of joined surface of soldering, on the joined surface where a corrosion medium of the sacrificing material acts, and wherein the surface where the corrosion medium acts, is baser by more than 30 mV to the core material.
