PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel capable of surely opening/closing a barrier even when the moving stroke of a lens barrel member at the time of collapsing is small. SOLUTION: In the case of moving a 1st group lens barrel 10 to a collapsing position by the backward rotational movement of a cam barrel 3, a barrier lever 13 abuts on the edge part 30a of a barrier slider 30, so that barrier blades 18A and 18B are driven in a closing direction, and a seesaw lever 13 is turned by the cam barrel 3 so as to press out the barrier slider 30 forward, then the barrier blades 18A and 18B are surely totally closed by the pressing-out stroke.
